Geri Galasso says she’s not special. But her students are quick to disagree, according to a story reported at www.thehour.com.

In fact, they say the cheery mathematics and eighth-grade homeroom teacher is the one who makes Our Lady of Fatima School in Wilton special. 

She helps them understand how to add and subtract integers, with her Galasso Golden Rule: “Keep, Add, Change.” She exemplifies the “Fatima Difference” by exhibiting faith, knowledge and respect. And she is readily available to listen and to offer encouragement, like the time Anthony broke his foot a few days before the 11th annual Tyler Ugolyn Memorial Tournament.
